Working Method: It is installed on the ground (surface type), drawing water from pools, rivers, or shallow wells through the inlet pipe and delivering it under pressure through the outlet. It usually uses a multi-stage impeller structure to increase pressure.
Core Working Principle: Multi-stage centrifugal + intelligent control
The LSGJ/LSJ series has a very mature and efficient working logic:
Power Source: Uses a permanent magnet DC brushless motor (BLDC). This motor is 20%-30% more efficient than traditional AC motors and has a very high speed, making it ideal for direct solar power.
Multi-stage Boosting: The motor drives the multi-stage impellers inside the pump core to rotate at high speed. The water pressure is increased with each stage of the impeller. Although the size is not large, the multi-stage design allows it to generate a high head (e.g., 35-50 meters).
Intelligent MPPT Controller: This series usually comes standard with an MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) controller.
Automatic Start/Stop: Automatically adjusts the speed according to the light intensity; runs at full speed when the light is strong, and at low speed when the light is weak, preventing burnout due to insufficient voltage, unlike ordinary pumps.
Protection Functions: Includes water shortage protection (dry running protection), overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, etc.

Feature Detailed Description

High Flow Rate & High Head Compared to the LSQB/LRQB series, the LSGJ/LSJ series has a larger flow rate (e.g., 3-5 tons per hour or more) and a higher head. It can meet the needs of large-area irrigation and water supply for high-rise buildings.
DC Brushless (High Efficiency and Long Life)  Brushless design, with a lifespan of tens of thousands of hours. Due to the absence of mechanical commutation friction, energy loss is extremely low, making it very energy-efficient (saving on solar panels).
Durable Materials  The pump body is typically made of aluminum alloy or stainless steel, and the impeller is usually made of brass or stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and preventing aging or damage from sand particles, unlike plastic pumps.
Fully Automatic Operation   With a controller, it achieves "pumping when there is sunlight, stopping when there is no sunlight," requiring no manual supervision. Some high-end models also support water level sensing (automatic shutdown when the water level is full).

Typical Application Scenarios

The LSGJ/LSJ series is the preferred equipment for small and medium-sized farms, orchards, and villas:
Agriculture/Orchard Irrigation:
This is its core application. It uses solar energy to directly pump water from rivers, ponds, or shallow wells to irrigate dozens of acres of farmland or orchards.
Household/Villa Water Supply:
Installed in the courtyard, it uses solar energy to pump groundwater or pond water to a rooftop water tank for daily use by the whole family (washing vegetables, showering, flushing toilets).
Fish Pond/Shrimp Pond Aeration and Circulation:
Used for water circulation in large bodies of water, or in conjunction with sprinklers for aeration.
Mobile Water Supply:
Installed on a trailer, with a foldable water tank, it serves as a mobile emergency water supply station or car washing equipment.

Selection and Usage Suggestions

Suction Head Limitation (Crucial):
Although it is a surface pump, its vertical suction height usually does not exceed 8 meters (limited by atmospheric pressure). If the water source is below 8 meters, please use a deep well pump (such as the 3LSS series).
Priming Required (Self-priming):
Most centrifugal surface pumps (including LSGJ) require filling the pump body with water before the first start-up (priming), otherwise, a vacuum cannot be formed for water suction. However, modern intelligent controllers usually have a "soft start" function, which helps the pump establish a vacuum more easily.
Anti-freezing Measures:
If used in winter, the remaining water in the pump body must be drained after shutdown to prevent freezing and cracking of the pump casing (especially aluminum alloy pump bodies).
Inlet Filtration:
Although it is more durable than plastic pumps, to extend its lifespan, it is recommended to install a filter screen at the inlet to prevent large particles from being sucked in and damaging the impeller.

The LSGJ/LSJ series is an "all-rounder" in solar water pumps. It offers higher flow rates and greater durability than small vortex pumps (LRQB), while being more flexible and intelligent than large industrial pumps. If you need to irrigate a large area or supply water for an entire household, and the water source is within 8 meters deep, then the LSGJ/LSJ series is a highly cost-effective option.
