Model Interpretation
L: Usually represents "Vertical" or "Centrifugal" (in some manufacturers' standards, it may represent other meanings, but usually refers to a water pump).
H: Represents "High Flow" or "Horizontal" installation.
F: Represents "Surface" or "Flange" connection, meaning it is usually horizontally installed, and the inlet and outlet ports use flange connections for large-diameter pipes.
Core Form: Horizontal installation, large-diameter inlet and outlet ports, cast iron or stainless steel pump body.
Working Method: It is a surface pump, installed on the ground. It usually adopts a single-stage double-suction or large-channel multi-stage structure, with the core goal of maximizing water flow while ensuring a certain head.
Core Working Principle: Large-channel centrifugal + solar direct drive
The working principle of the LHF series focuses on "high volume and sufficient supply":
Power Source: Uses a high-power permanent magnet DC brushless motor (BLDC). To drive high flow rates, its motor power is usually large (commonly starting from 550W, even up to several kilowatts).
Large Channel Design: Unlike the LSZ series which pursues high pressure, the impeller flow channel of the LHF series is wider, and the diameter of the inlet and outlet ports is also larger (such as 2 inches, 3 inches, or even larger). This results in minimal resistance to water flow and extremely high flow rates (up to tens of tons per hour).
Intelligent Control: Coupled with a built-in or external MPPT controller, it can automatically adjust the speed according to the intensity of sunlight.
Strong sunlight: Runs at full speed, providing a large amount of water.
Weak sunlight: Runs at low speed, continuously replenishing water, and will not be damaged due to unstable voltage.
Core Features: High flow rate, durable, wide voltage range
Feature Detailed Description
Ultra-high flow rate Core advantage. The LHF series is specifically designed for "large-area" operations. Its flow rate far exceeds that of the LSQB, LSZ, and other series, suitable for scenarios requiring the transfer of large amounts of water in a short time.
Robust and durable The pump body is usually made of cast iron (HT200) or precision cast stainless steel, and the impeller is mostly brass or stainless steel. This structure is more impact-resistant and wear-resistant than plastic pumps, suitable for long-term outdoor operation.
Wide Voltage/Power Adaptability: Designed specifically for solar power, it can adapt to significant voltage fluctuations. Even in low light conditions during the morning or evening, it can operate at low speeds without overheating and burning out like ordinary motors due to low voltage.
Low Noise: Although it's a high-power pump, due to the use of a brushless motor and an optimized hydraulic model, the operating noise is usually lower than traditional brushed motors or diesel engines, making it more environmentally friendly.
Typical Application Scenarios
The LHF series is the preferred equipment for large-scale water use:
Large-scale agricultural sprinkler/drip irrigation:
Suitable for hundreds or even thousands of acres of farmland, orchards, and tea plantations. It can quickly transport water from reservoirs or rivers to the main pipelines in the fields.
Large fish pond/shrimp pond circulation:
Used for water exchange and oxygenation circulation in large bodies of water. Ordinary small pumps cannot drive the circulation of large bodies of water; the high flow rate of the LHF series is perfectly suited for this.
Industrial water treatment and circulation:
Used as a transfer pump in factory cooling circulation systems and water treatment equipment.
Drought relief and flood control/emergency water supply:
In the dry season, it can pump large volumes of water from low-lying areas to higher areas, or drain large volumes of water during flooding.
Selection and Usage Suggestions
Matching high-power solar panels:
Since the LHF series has a high power output (e.g., 550W, 1kW, or even higher), you need to configure a correspondingly large solar panel array.
Suggestion: The peak power of the solar panels should preferably be 10%-20% higher than the rated power of the pump to ensure sufficient current during startup.
Suction head limitation:
As a surface pump, it is still limited by physical laws, and the vertical suction height usually does not exceed 8 meters. If the water source is below 8 meters, please be sure to choose a deep well pump (such as the 3LSS/4PSS series).
Pipe matching:
Due to the high flow rate, large-diameter inlet and outlet pipes must be used (such as DN50, DN65, etc.). If the pipes are too narrow, it will severely restrict the flow rate, leading to a decrease in pump efficiency.
Inlet filtration:
Although it is durable, to prevent the impeller from being entangled by large debris (such as plastic bags, branches), a high-power filter screen must be installed at the water inlet.
The LHF series is the "high-flow giant" among solar water pumps. If your needs involve "draining a pond quickly," "irrigating hundreds of acres of farmland," or "changing the water in a large-scale aquaculture farm," then the LHF series is a more efficient and suitable choice than the LSQB, LSZ, and other series. It sacrifices some "high-pressure" capability in exchange for unparalleled "water flow."
