JET high-suction protective jet pump core logic is: it doesn't use a motor for direct drive; it generates suction through "jetting."

Core Working Principle: Momentum Exchange
The working principle of a jet pump is based on the Venturi effect and the law of conservation of momentum in fluid mechanics. It mainly consists of a nozzle, suction chamber, mixing chamber, and diffuser.
Its operation can be summarized in three steps:
High-speed jetting: When the high-pressure working fluid (water, steam, or air) passes through the nozzle, its speed increases sharply, forming a high-speed jet. According to Bernoulli's principle, the faster the speed, the lower the pressure.
Vacuum generation: The high-speed jet creates negative pressure (vacuum) in the suction chamber, thereby drawing in the medium (gas or liquid) that needs to be transported.
Mixing and pressurization: The drawn-in medium is fully mixed with the high-speed jet in the mixing chamber, exchanging momentum. The mixed fluid enters the diffuser, where its speed decreases and its pressure increases, and is finally discharged.
Analogy: This is like using a high-speed water hose; the water flow creates suction, drawing in nearby leaves and carrying them away.

Main Classifications

According to the different working fluids (the medium used to generate power), jet pumps are mainly divided into the following categories:

Oil Diffusion Pump Oil vapor Requires the use of a mechanical pump, extremely high vacuum. Ultra-high vacuum scientific research fields (such as electron tube manufacturing).

Application Areas and Advantages

Jet pumps have an irreplaceable position in the industrial field, especially when dealing with "difficult" media:
Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries:
Used for vacuum distillation, evaporation, and drying. Because it has no mechanical seals, it is very suitable for handling toxic, flammable, explosive, or highly corrosive gases/liquids. Environmental Protection and Wastewater Treatment:
Used in aeration and dissolved air flotation processes, or for pumping wastewater containing large amounts of impurities and sediment, as it is not susceptible to clogging.
Thermal Systems:
Steam jet pumps can utilize high-pressure steam to entrain low-pressure steam (even waste steam), increasing the pressure and temperature of low-grade steam, achieving energy recovery, and are highly efficient energy-saving devices.

Advantages and Limitations

Advantages:
Simple structure, no moving parts: This means it is maintenance-free, has a long lifespan, is corrosion-resistant, and does not generate sparks, making it extremely safe.
Strong adaptability: It can pump mixed gases containing solid particles, dust, and condensate.
Limitations (Disadvantages):
Lower efficiency: Due to momentum exchange, there is significant energy loss, and it usually consumes more energy than mechanical pumps (e.g., steam jet pumps consume a large amount of steam).
Vacuum degree limitations: The compression ratio of a single-stage jet pump is limited (usually not exceeding 10). If extremely high vacuum is required, multiple stages in series are often needed, making the system more complex.
Dependence on power source: It does not generate power itself and must rely on an external source to provide high-pressure water, steam, or compressed air.

If you need to operate in locations without electricity, or need to handle flammable, explosive, dusty, or corrosive media, or need to utilize waste heat/residual pressure for energy recovery, a jet pump is a very reliable and safe option.
